Meet Legend! He is the sum of what we were looking for in this pairing (Cash x Star)
Legend spent his first 1.5 years at Warrior’s growing up. He earned his first AKC point and titled in UKC and IABCA as show champion. Legend also participated in his first lure coursing trial. He came away with a 5-point major and Best in Field!
In January 2024, he debuted with his co-owner, Randy Tincher at the esteemed Palm Springs shows. He landed a Reserve Winners dog against some deep competition. Then he headed to the east coast to see what all he could do while visiting. He was able to finish his AKC Championship in just 6 short weeks!
At the 2024 AWC National in Kingsport, TN, we partnered up again in the Best of Breed lineup. We had some fun before heading back home to California.
Upon his return and a well-deserved rest from travel, he emerged into his favorite sports – racing and lure coursing. In his first race meet in 2024 in San Diego, CA, he surprised us all by finding a new gear. He landed himself points towards his Companion Racer and first points DII Race Champion titles during the WRA meet. The next day during the NOTRA meet, he earned a spot in the Top 10! Legend consistently places in the top 10 for race meets.
In November, Legend earned his Companion Racer title from WRA (Whippet Racing Association).
His personal best in Fast CAT is 32.0 mph!
